Martin’s Lift Truck
Martin’s Lift Truck was established in 1983 and the company was incorporated in 1989.
Martin started the business in 1983 out of a full-size Dodge van. By the next year, he was working out of a 1000 square ft. shop on Highway 3 in Aylmer. In 1989, the business was incorporated and expanded to one employee.
By the year 2000, Martin’s Lift Truck had a handful of employees, and had added Operator Training to it’s services provided. The opportunity to sell Heli forklifts came in 2005, the little shop was quickly becoming too small for all the activity. In 2008, the business moved just down the street to the current location, allowing for 9000 sq. ft. of working space.
In 2016, Martin’s Lift Truck started a new company – Martin’s Safety Training – for the training division.
Our Team
Martin Baelde - President
Martin Has Owned and managed Martins Lift Truck since 1983. He started out as a mobile tech and as he got busier moved into the management position. These days he enjoys Snowmobiling and camping and spends more time overseeing things rather than being involved with all the day to day operations.
Adam Oulds - Sevice
Adam is one of our longest standing employees. He started out as a mobile service tech and over time moved up to become our service manager. He works hard to keep the techs dispatched in the most efficient and sensible route. contact him for all your service needs.
Jake Klassen - Parts
Jake Klassen joined our team a few years ago and really brought some life to the team. On top of taking care of the parts department he also takes time to keep everyone smiling. He is ready to help you with all parts needs and also speaks low German to be able to better serve our customer base.
David Friesen - Sales
David Is the newest office employee. Many will recognize Him from his years as a service tech. Using his knowledge of both the equipment and the customers needs he now takes care of new and used equipment sales
